i-Divi Advanced Audio: Another Free Divi Plugin by Howidivit

Hi everyone, today we want to officially present the new Divi plugin by Howidivit: i-Divi Advanced Audio.

Maybe you already know, if you usually follow our blog, what it is. It’s a really simple plugin that let you style and customize your Divi Audio modules going beyond the original settings. If you want to refresh how we realized simply take a look at our previous posts; otherwise you can just see below how it works, what it does and go to download it!

FIRST OF ALL

Before we dive into the plugin features let’s clarify how the plugin works. i-Divi Advanced Audio has been created with the Divi Extension tool and following all the developing best practices; however it doesn’t add any new module, it simply add settings to the Divi Audio module.

Furthermore the settings are visible in the Visual Builder too but the changes will not apply in the VB even though will be visible then in the published page/post (or also in the preview).

THE FEATURES

So, let’s give a look at the settings the plugin adds.

IMAGE WIDTH

The first – and maybe the most effective one – setting is about the Image Width of the Featured image. By default you can add a featured image that will be shown in the module on the left with a fixe width of 220px.

With the new setting you can adjust the width of the image (by default 35%) as you want.

AUDIO TIMELINE MARGIN

As you can see above changing the image width you can have your audio timeline partially overlaps with the image and lacks of readability. For this reason we add the Audio Timeline Margin setting that let you have control over the left margin of the audio timeline itself (by default set at 220px).

BUTTON AND TIMER COLORS

If you move under the Design tab you will find a new Audio toggle with a lot of options. The first set we want to show you are about the colors of Player and Volume button and Timer.

SLIDER COLORS

Another set of color controls the plugin adds are those concerning the sliders (timeline and volume); in this case these controls are both about the slider in its entirety and the slider till the handle position.

HANDLE OPTIONS

Finally you can customize the timeline Handle size, border, color and hover state.

FUTURE UPDATES

As we said above the plugin is only partially compatible with the Visual Builder. So in a future update we hope to add a complete compatibility in order to make the changes live in VB directly. Furthermore other settings are already under development and will be added in the future together with those ones suggested by you in the comments of this post.
